"You Bet Your Life & Truth or Consequences"

There's a famous sermon called "Its Friday But Sunday's Coming."

IT'S FRIDAY:

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly (us) … But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” Romans 5:6-10

BUT SUNDAY CAME:

"Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection from the dead? But if there is no resurrection from the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.  Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up - if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!  Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.  If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most pitiable. BUT NOW CHRIST IS RISEN FROM THE DEAD"- 1 Corinthians 15:12-20

PLACE YOUR BETS!

I've bet my entire life on Christ's death and blood for my sins and His resurrection to justify my belief in Him. Believing something doesn't make it true. Neither does not believing make it false. How one lives is what one really believes.

Are you betting it's true that you are a sinner (one separated from God) and Christ died just for you to save you from your sin and make you a born again child of God?  Or are you betting it's false?

An empty tomb or an empty life.  Your choice.  God made His choice at the cross.

Jesus told me to tell you that it's true and that He loves you and wants you to have a HAPPY EASTER!
