Pastor Dave shared a message for Communion about Faith from Hebrews 11:6 & 8. Both verses have been important in Pastor Dave's life, particularly when he came to Paradise.    "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" and "By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going."

We learn to know the Lord through His Word.  Pastor Dave noted that the phrase 'by faith' is used 19 times in Hebrews 11, both as a noun and a verb.  Jesus is with us always. Communion is our fellowship with Him, and the New Testament letters were written by those who knew Him personally, written to encourage others in Christ, so that we can do the same.
