Pastor Dave shared about the title of this series in Romans - The Reckoning - giving a short review of chapter 6:11 as the theme of this study - we are dead to sin and alive to God, reckoning the old man dead..  This study is in Romans 1:7-18 - grace and faith. As Christians we have a relationship with the Lord, as the Bride of Christ.  How do others see us as a Christian, how is our witness, would they approach us about our faith in Jesus?  Pastor Dave shared the story about Barney the dog.  He also shared about being a Good Shepherd and Pastor/Teacher to the flock that a friend shared with him in Napa years ago.  Know the Word well, to be able share Jesus with the lost and give them hope.  He also shared about encouraging one another in their faith in the Body of Christ, and the need to constantly pray for one another.
